Held over the Australia Day weekend, the 9PL offers a high-level rugby league competition with a family friendly festival on the Gold Coast. This is the first opportunity for players and fans to experience rugby league for the year in a fast-paced 9s format.

The concept provides an opportunity for former professional players, high profile athletes, social media identities and entrepreneurs to stay connected to rugby league by building and owning their own team which enhances brand exposure and social media content.
