Jacek McLaurin, a member of the inaugural champion Southern Sharks side, has ventured out on his own to create the Dawgs.

His team will bring together a number of close mates that don't get the opportunity to play in the same side very often.

After a massive win in the semi-final over a stacked Legacy side they couldn't repeat those efforts in the grand final, eventually going down to Southern Sharks.
